Butler-Cohen is a full-service construction company delivering complex projects across the education, industrial, government, and commercial sectors. We work in all project delivery formats—bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to every stage of the construction process.
Known for our people-first culture, we build lasting relationships through transparency, clear communication, responsiveness, and trust. From campuses and courthouses to industrial facilities and commercial spaces, we create environments that serve, grow, and inspire.
The Butler-Cohen Empowerment Program recognizes team members—especially field Crafts—whose performance drives project success and embodies our core values.
Each month, one team member on each job site earns the Empowerment Award for outstanding dedication to safety, quality, teamwork, and initiative. These individuals lead by example, strengthening both team morale and jobsite performance.
The program fosters a culture where safety, craftsmanship, and hard work are celebrated, reinforcing the behaviors that keep our projects professional, productive, and safe.
At Butler-Cohen, we believe that investing in people and recognizing excellence leads to stronger teams and better project outcomes.
Big things are happening in Ector County! We're proud to see construction moving forward on this important community project. Stay tuned for more progress updates! ...
A great day celebrating an important construction milestone at the Ector County Juvenile Justice Center and recognizing the teams helping bring this project to life.
@Why does the new Ector County Courthouse need 15 courtrooms?
Because the County's justice system includes multiple courts with different responsibilities, including District Courts, County Courts at Law and Justice of the Peace Courts.
The new courthouse will bring these functions together in a purpose-built facility, with dedicated spaces to support court proceedings, jury service, clerks, attorneys and the many other services that keep the justice system moving.
15 courtrooms. One courthouse designed for the work happening inside it.

Good people, great conversations, and one fun week in Waco! 🤠🥃
The Butler-Cohen team was in Waco for the 104th Annual County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas Conference, and we had such a great time connecting and catching up throughout the week.
To top it off, we hosted our After-Dinner Drinks & Cigars Social with hand-rolled cigars, live music, drinks, desserts, and great company.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones, and making some great memories along the way.
Eddie is back with more knowledge he has gained from the Congregation Beth Rambam Expansion Project. Every project brings its own challenges, and every challenge brings something new to learn.
At Butler-Cohen, we’re always building, learning, and carrying those lessons forward.
