Butler-Cohen is a full-service construction company delivering complex projects across the education, industrial, government, and commercial sectors. We work in all project delivery formats—bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to every stage of the construction process.
Known for our people-first culture, we build lasting relationships through transparency, clear communication, responsiveness, and trust. From campuses and courthouses to industrial facilities and commercial spaces, we create environments that serve, grow, and inspire.

The Butler-Cohen Empowerment Program recognizes team members—especially field Crafts—whose performance drives project success and embodies our core values.
Each month, one team member on each job site earns the Empowerment Award for outstanding dedication to safety, quality, teamwork, and initiative. These individuals lead by example, strengthening both team morale and jobsite performance.
The program fosters a culture where safety, craftsmanship, and hard work are celebrated, reinforcing the behaviors that keep our projects professional, productive, and safe.
At Butler-Cohen, we believe that investing in people and recognizing excellence leads to stronger teams and better project outcomes.

What does a Director of Preconstruction actually do all day? A little bit of everything. ☕ Reviewing priorities, supporting her team, tackling project challenges, planning for growth, and keeping people connected along the way. Spend the day with Abi and get a look behind the scenes at the leadership, strategy, and teamwork that happen long before construction begins. #dayinthelife ... See MoreSee Less

Every lasting structure begins with a strong foundation.

As construction continues, each milestone brings this vision one step closer to becoming a reality. Read more about the project at newectorcourthouse.com

Sometimes, speaking up is the most important thing you can do on a jobsite.
During a tilt-wall lift, Bictor Longoria, with 7S Erectors LLC, noticed something fall from the crane. He trusted his instincts, stopped the lift, and called for an inspection. The team discovered a broken safety retaining pin on the pendant lines and addressed the issue before work continued.
We’re proud to recognize Bictor with the Butler-Cohen Empowerment Award for having the confidence to stop, speak up, and put safety first.
Thank you for setting the example, Bictor! 👏

Well... this completely melted us. ❤️
The students at Aristoi Classical Academy surprised our team with these handwritten thank you notes and drawings, and there may have been a few happy tears around the office.
Thank you for your kindness, your creativity, and the reminder that behind every project are students whose lives will be shaped by the spaces we build. That means everything to us. 🏫 ... See MoreSee Less
