Navarro County, Texas

Navarro County Jail and Sheriff’s Office

This project involves the replacement of Navarro County’s aging jail and sheriff’s office facilities. Phase I delivers a new, state-of-the-art jail and sheriff’s department, designed through a Design-Build partnership with Burns Architecture to maintain budget alignment and efficiency. Early involvement of key subcontractors such as MEP engineers ensures constructability and cost control. Phase II consists of a full renovation and conversion of the existing jail into a County annex, providing much-needed office space for additional County departments. This project addresses long-standing facility challenges identified in the County’s master planning process and represents Butler-Cohen’s commitment to delivering innovative, collaborative, and cost-conscious civic solutions.
