Merfish Teen Center Renovation – Houston, TX
About the Project
The Merfish Teen Center is part of the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center in southwest Houston. The main structure was constructed in 1955, and a classroom edition was added in the 1980s. Based upon drawings prepared by EDI International, Butler-Cohen completely renovated the interior of the center, including the removal of the lobby stairs leading to the loft area. The building is now completely revitalized, and hosts a multitude of events throughout the year.
