INEOS Railcar and Extrusion Building – La Porte, TX
About the Project
KBR engaged Butler-Cohen for the INEOS Gemini project. The scope of work included the installation of exterior metal sheathing, EPDM roofing, interior build-out, HVAC, personnel doors, overhead doors, and a modular control room. The installation of the exterior metal sheathing was extensive working from 60 to 120 feet JLG’s and scaffolding to finish out the extrusion building (120 feet tall), rail car facility (50 feet tall), and several miscellaneous valve structures within the industrial facility. We completed this project within the 120-day calendar schedule. All work was completed within an active industrial refinery, in a high security, high risk area with limited-to-minimal laydown and storage areas.
