About the Project

In the heart of Houston’s vibrant and revitalized EaDo district, and steps away from the home of the Houston Dynamo, you will find the Soccer Shots Houston headquarters. The Children’s Soccer Experience, consisting of local programs teaching soccer and teamwork fundamentals to children aged 2 to 8. The Houston headquarters project consisted of extensive renovations to an existing historic 1940s brick building and an adjacent metal warehouse. The brick building contains a mix of residential, office, meeting and gathering spaces set in a loft-inspired design with raw/industrial finishes, complete with a roof deck to take advantage of stunning views of the downtown skyline. The existing metal building was de-skinned, refreshed and wrapped in fencing to become a covered outdoor Futsal court with turf or sport flooring. This live/work project helped to bring beauty back to East Downtown Houston.
