About the Project

Butler-Cohen partnered with PBK Architects to design and construct a 35,000 sq ft addition to a decommissioned private school facility in the up-and-coming Bishop Arts neighborhood of Dallas. The expansion includes a new cafeteria with servery and full kitchen, and a new, 2-story classroom wing that doubles as a storm shelter, constructed using the Insulated Concrete Forms structural system.  The project also includes renovations to the existing 72,000 sq ft facility, including renovated classrooms, a new administrative suite, and a new secure entry vestibule.
